With this routine you can switch individual objects invisible independent of the layer.
Input request 
Objects invisible [Invert/All except/Select objects]<Select objects>:
Confirm the input request to select objects which are to be rendered invisible.
Select the option All except if you want to select objects which are not to be rendered invisible.
Select the Invert option to invert the visibility status of the objects.
Inversion makes invisible objects visible and visible objects invisible. This option is only shown if the drawing contains invisible objects.
Select objects:
Use the mouse to choose the objects.
Note 
The number of invisible objects is displayed in the status line if you have activated the tick box Layer info in the status section in the options (see Chapter Options).
Use the command Objects visible or the AutoCAD command Unisolate objects (_unisolateobjects) to render invisible objects visible. Both commands can be combined. This means that: Objects, which have been switched invisible with the ATHENA command, can be rendered visible with the AutoCAD command and vice versa.
