Changing properties

Dialog box Placement plan profiled sheet
db_ath_fplate_edit
On the left side you can see a preview. It is primarily intended for visual checks and shows the part with the set properties.
Dialog box section Display
Schematic
Illustrates the profiled sheets of the placement plan (with diagonal line, directional arrow and label).
Solids
Illustrates the profiled sheets of the placement plan as three-dimensional solids. In this representation the diagonal line is masked out and the label is shown in the middle underneath.
Use the command Object to solid body to convert several elements into solids.
Direction arrow
Switches the directional arrow on and off. As standard, it is switched on.
Dialog box section Top and Bottom (Right and Left)
Overlap
Defines the overlap of the profiled sheets. When you switch off the tick box, no overlap is used.
With overlap, the clamping direction is taken into account. With a vertical clamping direction the overlap at the top and bottom is specified. With a horizontal clamping direction this is right and left.
The texts in the dialog box change depending on the clamping direction:
Clamping direction vertical: Top and Bottom.
Clamping direction horizontal: Right and Left.
Sheet thickness
Here, you can modify the material thickness of the profiled sheets. In the list the available sheet thicknesses of the current profiled sheet are displayed.
Dialog box section Surface
A and B
Activates a surface specification for side A or B.
Normally, the A side is the face side which is coated in color, whereas the B side as the back side is given a protective lacquer.
Ask the manufacturer which surfaces are available for the relevant side.
The surface is output during labeling and is analyzed in the list.
